Home Again, Home Again

We left my parents on Tues July 8, drove as far as Lehi, UT. It's so nice to have a pit stop on the way home! Thanks Bangerters! Except my brother and sister in law were on vacation and Steve's parents were tending the girls so we got to spend one more night with the Bangerter cousins and Gma and Gpa Mayo. Grandma took the kids to a new amusement park there, Liberty Land. They all had a great time! Thanks Grandma for always working so hard on fun outings.

As fun as the visits were, it is so nice to be back home. We came home last Wed (July 9th)., picked Steve up from the airport that night. He flew home for that quick visit with his new boss. Then we had to put him back on the airplane on Thursday. We didn't even get him for 24 hours and he had to go back! Charlee just sobbed when we left the airport without Dad. It broke my heart! The first time she didn't know what was happening, this time she knew. Now, everytime I get after her for something she goes in a corner and cries "Daddy!" It's a tear jerker! She also says quite frequently, "it's time to go the airport and pick up dad".

It felt so good to all be home together again. This past 2 months has shown me how blessed it is just to have a normal life! A daddy that goes to work and comes home every night and just getting to be together. Who needs anything exciting going on? I just long for the quiet, normal days again!

I am so grateful for wonderful neighbors that took such good care of our yard while we were gone. I so appreciate their kindness!
