As our house has been for sale for oh 16 months...with no end in sight...we are constantly "fixing" things hoping to hit the magic point that will make it move already. Well early this summer we decided to fix something that we tremendously enjoy...our hot tub. This is a beloved hand me down from Steve's parents. We got it I think 3 years ago. At one point Grandpa went to repaint it, the store mixed the paint wrong and it came out pink. Grandpa just left it (I can so see my husband doing the same thing!) So we have had a "pink" hot tub. So we painted it this June and wola we had a new tub! Even months later, just this weekend Trace said "it still feels like we have a new hot tub, I'm so glad we repainted it!" Besides that it was a fun project we all got to take part in!

Charlee turns 4!
August 23, 2009
It seems like I have been in deja vu the past several weeks in particular. I feel like I could easily be reliving the days before Charlee's birth. Getting all the pink put in drawers, getting ready for baby girl has been so exciting. I remember when I was pregnant with Charlee I so desperatly wanted another little girl. When we got her ultrasound I remember the ultrasound tech said "it's a girl" then he said "but don't go painting the room pink just yet" ??? what! I was sooo excited, it had been 10 years since we had a baby girl; but I was so afraid it wasn't real at the same time...I remember asking my dr..."so if they say I'm having a girl how sure can I be that its really a girl"? He said "if they said its a girl you're having a girl"! Even after that I was cautious...I remember going into the hospital and had the nicest nurse...she asked what we were having..."a girl...I really hope anyways" I said. After Charlee was born both the dr and the nurse said "you've got your little girl!" I was so happy to have another little princess!! She has fulfilled my dreams of having that little princess to the fullest. To the point I fear just a little that its going to be a little tramatic for both of us when the newest princess comes home. But no, it will just be triple the fun having 3 princesses!

(yes, I decided I better get this posted before 1st grade starts in a mere few weeks!)
Sad Mommy moment...I carefully recorded the whole thing then when I got home, nothing was there! The tape jammed and was in 2 pieces. I was so sad...I have tried to get another copy but so far one hasn't come to be.
Then this picture was blurry...Sigh...Oh well. It was beautiful!

Then this picture was blurry...Sigh...Oh well. It was beautiful! The morning their big pictures were taken Trace got up and got dressed in his best shirt and jeans, belt, buckle, boots and hat (had mom let him). He said he wanted to look his best. Miss Carroll, his teacher told me when I picked him up that day, that when she told him to put the cap and gown on Trace said, "if I have to wear that, why did I get all dressed up???" She thought it was pretty cute.
Julie & Jeremy Wedding
May 30, 2009
My youngest sister, Julie got married. We were lucky enough to get to be with them on their special day. Charlee was the flower girl!

What better way to pass the time than to watch cousin Jake pick grass and put it on the Bride's dress!
